Short Personal Description:
I grew up outside of Portland Oregon, where I played football and lacrosse in high school. I moved to Fort Collins to attend CSU. After spending time at the Boys & Girls club in Fort Collins, I decided to pursue a career in teaching rather than software engineering. I enjoy working with students and making a positive impact on their lives. I love computer science because it offers students a chance to learn by doing, create new things, and problem solve from day one. While pursuing my Master's, I worked with CSU's student athletes as a tutor & mentor. This only re-affirmed my love of education, as I made real connections with remarkable student-athletes, each with a unique story. I firmly believe that anyone can learn anything with the right amount of determination.
